options currently include local HMO with coverage completely
company-paid for eligible employees and subsidized for children, spouse,
and family. For dental coverage, options currently include major dental,
which is a base as well as a comprehensive plan with coverage completely
company-paid for eligible employees and subsidized for children, spouse,
and family. A vision care plan is part of our local HMO and covers many
expenses associated with routine eye examinations, contact lenses, and
glasses. Insuring Your Life
Panel Specialists, Inc. provides basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance at no cost to eligible employees. Employees may select and pay for additional life coverage of up to five additional times their annual pay. In addition, employees have the opportunity to select and pay for life insurance in various coverage amounts for their spouse and dependents.
Paid Time Off (PTO) and Holidays
Paid time off allowed each year depends on employee’s length of service. In addition, Panel Specialists, Inc. currently recognizes nine company holidays for eligible employees: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Tuition Reimbursement Plan
Panel Specialists, Inc. is committed to employees’ personal development. In addition to on-the-job-training and job-specific training, eligible employees are encouraged to further their education at any accredited institution, and are eligible for tuition reimbursement for many related expenses.
Saving for Your Future
Employees may participate in this plan by electing to contribute up to 16 percent of their pay to a pre-tax (401(k) plan after one year of service. Panel Specialists, Inc. will match 100 percent of each before-tax dollar up to four percent of pay per pay period.
