General Information

1. Laminated exterior panels are WilsonArt high-pressure laminate, which is scratch resistant and impact resistant.
    
2. Core material is seven ply plywood in all stress areas like the side panels, framing, drawer fronts, and toe kicks (desk and chest).
    
3. Wardrobe incorporates industrial grade core with exterior high-pressure laminate to avoid the possibility of warpage in tall 84” long panels.
    
4. Internal strength spacers are laminated plywood.
    
5. Exposed edges are color matched durable 3 mm PVC edge.
    
6. Non-exposed edges consists of a durable PVC edge.
    
7. Chest and desk have full 3/4” thick finished back panels.
    
8. Desk has a modesty panel.
    
9. Standard construction allows all desks and chests to incorporate removable and replaceable parts for cost effective maintenance.
    
10. Drawers are stain resistant and will not retain smells (Alfit drawer system). Drawer slides have a lifetime warranty. Our normal drawer is an extremely durable steel sided drawer rated at 100 pounds. An all-wood drawer is available upon request.
     
11. Desk has a steel footrest spreader that bolts through the panel leg and pedestal panel.
     
12. Dimensional changes can be incorporated into each model of furniture to accommodate the customer needs for a slight charge.
     
13. Wood side panels, back panel, and interior framing are plain-sliced red oak exterior plywood.
     
14. Wood panels’ exterior finish is state-of-the-art ultraviolet coating to resist scratches, stains, and impact.
     
15. Wood drawer fronts are solid red oak with routed pulls.
     
16. Optional oak plywood drawer fronts are also available on the wood product.
     
17. Tops are high-pressure laminate with solid oak edge.
     
18. The bottom edges of all panels receive a thick PVC edge to act as a glide and prevent floor damage.
     
19. Tops of chests and nightstands, and drop leafs, are nominally 1/2” thick tops of high-pressure laminated wood. Top sizes shown in catalogue are nominal sizes.
     
20. Adjustable glides on the desk panel leg screw into a steel rod embedded in the panel.
     
21. Items containing high-pressure laminated wood components are available with fire retardant materials (Class A / Class 1) for an additional charge of 12%.
     
22. All edges of the exterior panels are sealed against moisture absorption.
     
23. All drawer fronts are height adjustable for future smooth operation.
     
24. Installation services including receiving, unloading, assembly, distribution and leveling of PSI furniture will be provided for an additional charge. Installation to be negotiated on a project-by-project basis. Please contact the Factory for information regarding these services. Customers must fully define the scope of the required services. These services can be performed only when the furniture is shipped Prepay and Add.
     
25. Our standard construction utilizes a metal-to-metal construction technique for the strongest construction but we also have dowel construction available. The RTA construction method allows the easy replacement of any damaged parts.
     
26. PSI furniture is available in natural wood veneers or high-pressure laminate or any combination.
     
27. Wood veneer furniture comes in a durable natural finish and staining is available for an additional 5% charge.
     
28. Beds come in standard sizes and dimensions.  Configuration can be altered to meet specific requirements.
